The brief

A clearer website for a broad energy offer

Three Phase needed a website that could explain a wide energy offer without overwhelming visitors. The site had to make it easier for different audiences to find the right path, whether they were looking at home energy, commercial solar, PPA funding, battery storage or EV charging.

The focus was not just visual design. The build needed clearer structure, stronger service positioning and pages that could support search, enquiries and future content.

The challenge

Making a technical offer easier to understand

Renewable energy websites can quickly become confusing because there are lots of products, funding options and customer types involved. The job was to make the offer easier to follow and give each visitor a more obvious next step.

Different customer journeys

Residential and commercial visitors needed clear routes without competing for attention on every page.

Technical services

Solar, battery storage and EV charging had to be explained in plain English without losing credibility.

Search visibility

The website needed a structure that could support future SEO around service and funding searches.

What I worked on

Website build, structure and clearer messaging

My role was to help turn the offer into a more practical website experience. That meant shaping the structure, building out key sections and making the content easier for visitors to scan and act on.

Key areas of work

  • Website page structure for residential and commercial audiences
  • Clearer service messaging for solar, batteries and EV charging
  • Commercial solar page structure focused on business decisions
  • Calls to action that point visitors towards the right enquiry route
  • Visual section layouts designed to make technical information easier to scan
  • SEO-friendly foundations for future service and location content

What the site now supports

A stronger base for future marketing

Commercial solar enquiries

Pages can explain the business case, funding routes and practical assessment process.

Residential energy interest

Homeowners can see solar, battery and charging options more clearly.

Future SEO content

The structure gives the business room to build out more targeted pages over time.

Sales conversations

The site gives the team a clearer reference point when speaking to customers.

Why this matters

Good website builds are strategy work too

A website for a technical service business has to do more than look tidy. It needs to help people understand the offer, trust the business and choose the right next step.

That is where marketing thinking matters. The structure, messaging, page order, proof and calls to action all affect whether the website supports enquiries or simply sits online.
